DIGITAL BANNERS
The featured example is from a series of ads for Evenflo’s Gold line of products. I juxtaposed micro, macro and negative space to highlight the quality finish of the product and to create a bold feeling.
Bellow is a small selection of digital banner work I did at Evenflo.
DIRECT MAIL
This is a very small selection of the hundreds of pieces of direct mail I produced at Minuteman press. While there I perfected a system that would merge the mailing list pre-print in such a way that would keep perfect order through all post processing, including automatic separation by box; this was hardly trivial. The mailing could be well over 10,000 pieces. This process cut the hands-on time in half without increasing print time. Saving hundreds of hours of labor per year and over-print costs.
SOCIAL MEDIA .GIFs
During my time at Evenflo I worked with Babies R Us Canada and their social media team. Initially the plan for the year was to mostly use “lifestyle” images. However, we discovered .gif like animations had a higher view and click through rate.
We shifted our goals and I began developing “.gifs” for every product in their line, highlighting the key feature of the products using simple eye catching animation. Supplemented with lifestyle images to keep things fresh and engaging. Since this was was a retro decision some products only had our 3 basic studio shots: front, side, 3/4.
VIDEO & MOTION GRAPHICS
During my time at Evenflo I developed a basic video “flip-book” template that could be applied to every product in Evenflo’s Silver catalog. The purpose of these videos was to highlight key features on Amazon product pages. The major challenge was many older products’ images were lost and had only had two or three low res .jpegs as assets. Additionally this template had to be universal, simple, and very fast to make. In a few days I used this template for over 25 products and later an intern and I applied two similar versions of this template to an additional 50+ products.
LARGE FORMAT PRINT
During my time at Minuteman I worked with many national chains creating locally customized advertisements and signs. I followed design directs and brand guidelines to resize and make informational changes to various ad campaigns.
BILLBOARDS
This small series of billboards was commissioned by Evenflo to advertise that they were hiring and secondarily to promote Evenflo and grow brand awareness. A total of 11 billboards were put up around their production plant in Piqua, OH.
