Photo-retouching
PHOTO RETOUCHING & IMAGE COMPOSITING
Though the difference is subtle, removing this shiny section of plastic (on the left) stumped several expensive out-of-house retouchers. Using a process called frequency separation, along with other tools, I was able to flawlessly correct all 14 images in one day.
Zoom on in — no worries, the fabric texture is maintaned
but the wrinkles are gone while still looking realistic.
I pride myself on my unwavering attention to detail; always learning new techniques, expanding my set of retouching tools and developing ways to hone the quality of my work.
Bellow is an image of a car-seat color matched to two fabric samples. This involves a color balanced light box, knowing what the photographer is shooting at, a truly calibrated monitor, print production and a bunch of less interesting stuff in-between. I played a key role in perfecting this system at Evenflo.
